'BIM for Heritage' published by Historic England

This new guidance from Historic England is the second in a series of documents on BIM for heritage and focuses on heritage asset management.

The second Historic England guidance document on Building Information Modelling (BIM) is now published and available for download from the Historic England website.

Entitled BIM for Heritage - Developing the Asset Information Model this new guidance is the second in a series of documents on BIM for heritage and focuses on heritage asset management, in particular conservation repair and maintenance, and suggests that the first task when adopting a BIM information management approach is to develop an Asset Information Model (AIM).

The document can be downloaded from historicengland.org.uk along with three Word templates to assist in the development of your own Asset Information (AIR), Exchange Information (EIR) and Organisational Information (OIR) requirements.
