The third edition of the European BIM Summit (EBS) will be held on 25 and 26th May 2017 in the framework of Barcelona Building Construmat, the International Building Exhibition of Fira de Barcelona, positioning itself the event of reference on Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Europe.  For further details visit  http://europeanbimsummit.com/

France will be the guest of this third edition of the European BIM Summit.

The summit will consist of presentations and workshops where tools, services and products suitable for those working in this field will be analyzed. The summit is aimed at technicians and managers of public administrations, promoters, architectural firms, engineering firms, service consultants, material suppliers, manufacturers, project & construction managers, project supervisors and facility managers, and builders, among others. Decision makers that mark the direction of the construction sector.

BIM and Architectural Technology on Friday 26 May at 10:45 hrs in Pavillion 5, Room 5.2

BIM and Architectural Technology plays a significant part in the project and design management process, linked to the building life cycle through the integration of technology and the new world of collaborative working and creating new communities of practice.  The workshop covers BIM in education, practice and implementation of BIM policies by members of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT).

CIAT is the lead international professional and qualifying body in Architectural Technology and represents those practising and studying within the discipline of Architectural Technology including BIM.
