Lime mortars for the repair of traditional buildings and for new-build CPD
This presentation by Roz Artis, Director, Scottish Lime Centre Trust includes a guide to the range and types of lime mortars, plasters, renders and limewash finishes available to us today, to give designers and specifiers an understanding of best practice principles for mortar works to repair traditional, solid-walled buildings or for constructing and finishing new buildings. Aspects covered will include initial appraisal of mortar repair works required and choosing mortars to suit modern masonry construction and finishes.
