Keep up to date on technical knowledge

Professionals involved in design and risk management need a blend of wide-ranging skills, knowledge and experience. Practitioners need to keep up to date on a wide range of technical knowledge and this is supported with the ‘softer’ personal skills associated with communication, organisation etc. APS’ (CPD40) programme addresses both requirements.

APS’ Autumn CPD is now open.

The new CPD series will cover two topics over one day:

  • Morning Session: Fire Safety and Timber Frame Developments. Speaker - Gareth Pezzack – Falcon Fire
  • Afternoon Session: Effective Design Risk Management: making expert advice count . Speaker - Sue Farmer – Miradorus Ltd

For anyone involved in timber frame construction, we provide a vital exploration of how risks are assessed and controlled. Our session on effective design risk management takes a more holistic view, focusing on how professionals can utilise technical knowledge and experience for maximum impact.

You are invited to book both of the sessions or just one of them. Lunch is included if you book both.

You will receive 6 points for a half-day session or 12 points if you attend both.
