London | Greater London Region Business Meeting

Elect members to serve on your Regional Committee and offer yourself as a candidate if you also wish to serve

From 18:00 on Wednesday 24 July 2019 at The Gallery, Alan Baxter Ltd, 75 Cowcross Street, London, EC1M 6EL.

The business meeting provides an excellent opportunity to meet with old colleagues and make new friends. 

Add your voice to forge the future of our Institute.

The agenda for the evening will be as follows: 

• Event opens at 18:00
• Opening remarks by the Chair
• A few words by those existing committee members wishing to tell the Region what has been achieved in their role
• A networking opportunity for 30 minutes where members can ask the existing commitee questions and ascertain if they would like to offer themselves as candidates for election
• Returning Officer opens the election of the new committee
• Members wishing to put themselves forward are given one minute to introduce themselves to the audience and express why they wish to join the committee. The roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer will be elected on the night and members wishing to offer themselves for these roles should include this point in their introduction
• Elections then take place to select the 15 committee members
• The newly appointed Regional Committee hold the second round of voting to elect the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer
• The new committee sets the date for their first meeting when the other positions will be selected
• Networking continues
• Event closes at 20:45
• Networking continues at a nearby venue
