The key challenges in the digital transformation of infrastructure
Following on from last year’s success, ICE's Shaping a Digital World returns on 25 September. This popular event, supported by CIAT, brings together asset owners, consultants, contractors, academics and technology providers to debate the key challenges associated with the digital transformation of infrastructure.
'Industry 4.0' is upon us: a world of connectivity, automation and data abundance. We have the opportunity to solve the productivity problem and provide better infrastructure services to society, by making better decisions based on better data. But to get there, we must collaborate to tackle the big transformational challenges including culture, behaviours, skills, security and business model transformation.
Shaping a Digital World 2018 offers practitioners and organisations a valuable opportunity to keep pace with our fast-transforming sector and aims to give delegates clear takeaways and next steps. The programme features three key themes of productivity, behaviour and value of data – all focused on how to break down barriers and help turn infrastructure into an information-based industry.
