Surrey | Historic Finishes Masterclass
SPAB are offering a one-day masterclass on how historic finishes are investigated and conserved at Hampton Court Palace.
Combining lectures, practical demonstrations and hands-on workshops, these masterclasses are designed for those who are professionally involved with buildings. The masterclasses are recognised for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).
The aim of this masterclass is to consider how historic finishes are investigated and conserved – focusing on paint and wallpaper, using the unique setting of Hampton Court Palace as a case study. Delegates will also gain experience of practical techniques during a hands-on workshop.

Please note: delegates will need to be prepared with suitable clothing for messy work; all other PPE will be provided on the day.
