Members can apply for CSCS cards to prove professional status whilst on site. These cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others. See below to find out which card you can apply for:

The Professionally Qualified Person's Card (PQP)

- You must be MCIAT or TCIAT.
- Pass the Managers and Professional Level Health, Safety and Environment test.
- Submit a copy of your membership card with your application to confirm current membership.

The Academically Qualified Person's Card (AQP)

- You must be an Associate member or a profile candidate with a relevant academic qualification (HNC/HND/FdSc/degree or above).
- Pass the Managers and Professional Level Health, Safety and Environment test.
- Submit a copy of your HNC/HND/FdSc/degree with your application.

Visitor's Card

- The Visitor's card is in the process of being removed from the CSCS Scheme as those visiting site and not undertaking any Construction duties are not required to hold a CSCS card. Further information is available on the CSCS website at cscs.uk.com/visitor
- A temporary visitor card can be applied for up until 28 February 2020. This card will expire on 31 August 2020.
- To apply for this card, you must take and pass the Operative Level Health, Safety and Environment test.


Trainee Card

- You must be a student member or a profile candidate without a recognised academic qualification.
- You must pass the Operative Level Health, Safety and Environment test.
- Submit a copy of your membership card with your application to confirm current membership.
