Mike became a Chartered Member in 1970 and has actively played his part by continuing to contribute in dealing with Institute business and issues at Regional level.

Mike has served the West Midlands Regional Committee as Regional Education Officer from 1980-1983 and has been Regional Treasurer since 2005. He has proved his staying power in recent years by carrying out his role with great enthusiasm, which remains unturned, even now in his retirement.

He has always been keen to know how the Institute is progressing within the industry by offering and/or insisting that he be considered for representing the Region as a Voting Delegate at AGMs.

Mike has played a pivitol role in the Region for 47 years and has always been a person whom his peers look up to, extending to his helpful advice and experience to the younger aspirATion Group members on the Committee.
