Assessors required – Level 3 Digital Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard

UK-based members of CIAT are encouraged to become assessors for the Level 3 Digital Engineering Technician apprenticeships standard.

NOCN, an End Point Assessment Organisation for the Level 3 Digital Engineering Technician apprenticeships standard, would like to appoint UK-based members of CIAT to become assessors for this standard. The assessment plan can be found here.

Assessors would be employed on a freelance basis – therefore there would be no guarantee of work and they will need to meet at least two of the criteria points detailed below:

  • Current industry knowledge (experience within the profession within at least 3 years).
  • Current professional qualification at (or above) Technician level of professional membership with one of the relevant professional institutions listed on the Digital Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Evidence of at least 3 years effective experience applying CAD/BIM related tools and standards.
  • Hold Construction and Built Environment related discipline (or equivalent) qualification, minimum HNC.

Assessors would ideally hold an IQA Award in addition to an assessor qualification alongside the BIM/CAD industry requirements of this standard. The majority of the EPA assessment elements (portfolio, project and interview) will be conducted remotely for the foreseeable future.

Expressions of interest should be directed to [email protected].
