BSI seeks comments on safe working guidelines
BSI is open to views/comments on version 2 of its ‘Safe Working During the COVID-19 Pandemic Guidelines’ .
The second version of BSI’s 'Safe Working During the COVID-19 Pandemic Guidelines’ are now available to download. Version 2 of the guidelines aims to offer a comprehensive, practical approach to safe working during the pandemic.
The BSI say that the guidelines are applicable to all organizations, large and small, and provide recommendations, based on user experience and expert input.
A proposal to develop an ISO PAS, based on these guidelines, is being balloted.
The ISO PAS is designed to respond to the urgent market need and the ambition is to publish this at the end of 2020.
Work will then go forward to develop the PAS into a full standard which covers planning for future pandemics as well as the ongoing one.
