Changing attitudes towards the mental wellbeing of early career AT professionals

A publication that investigates and addresses issues relating to mental wellbeing for students and new AT professionals.

CIAT is pleased to announce the publication of Changing attitudes towards the mental wellbeing of early career Architectural Technology professionals, a publication that investigates and addresses issues relating to mental wellbeing for both students and those who have recently started their professional career in AT. It has been written by our Member and Special Issues Taskforce representative, David Comiskey MCIAT. You can obtain a copy of the publication here.

David has also developed a mindfulness PatHWAY (Promoting Health & Wellbeing Among Young & early career architectural technology professionals) to which practices can pledge their committment. It challenges employers to reduce the stigma around mental health by making small changes in their workplace practice. To pledge the commitment of your practice to mindfulness PatHWAY, and have it included in the report, please sign up via this link. You will be asked to refer to pages 24 and 25 of the publication, and you can access the PatHWAY here.
