Consultation on the banning of combustible materials in the external walls of high-rise buildings

Members' views sought

This proposal is in line with the Secretary of State’s commitment in Parliament on 17 May 2018 to consult on banning the use of combustible materials in cladding systems on high-rise residential buildings.
 
This consultation is seeking views on the proposals to ban the use of certain materials. A detailed impact assessment will also be produced, and which will be based on the information that is received from this consultation to inform the final policy decision.
