Consultation on the amendments to Part L and Part F of the Building Regulations for new dwellings

CIAT has been sent details of a consultation that sets out the plans of the Welsh Government to improve the energy efficiency requirements for new homes in 2020. The document also provides detail on the direction of travel for energy efficiency requirements for introduction in 2025.

In tandem with the consultation, the Welsh Government will be holding events to present details of its current Building Regulations Part L and F Review. These half day events are being held in North and South Wales to discuss the consultation and answer any questions that may help you in submitting a response. 

The events will be held at:

• Cardiff | Friday 7 February 2020 | 09:00 - 12:30
• Llandudno | Tuesday 11 February 2020 | 09:00 - 12:30
