Electoral Review Survey: Electing your President (and Honorary Officers): Your input is valued

Don't forget to complete the survey

The Institute is reviewing the mechanism of the election process for the President (and Honorary Officers[1]).   The Electoral Review Group, formed to lead on this project, is inviting your opinion on which election process you think would work for your Institute, now and into the future.
[1] Honorary Officers comprise:  President and the Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and Vice-Presidents.

The Electoral Review Group has narrowed the election process into three feasible models:

  • Status Quo: current system
  • Chartered Member: one =vote
  • Electoral College System

You will have recently received an email requesting your participation in a short survey to consider which of the three voting models above is best suited to CIAT as a progressive and forward-thinking modern Institute for the 21st Century.  Using the background information attached to the email you are asked to make an informed decision about the future of your Institute.  The deadline to complete the survey and have your opinion heard is Wednesday 28 November 2018.  If you have not received an email, please contact Central Office on +44(0)20 7278 2206.
