Futurebuild announce return of the Big Innovation Pitch

If you have a product, idea or concept that will make a difference to the built environment and the challenges we face for a more sustainable future, enter now!

Futurebuild are delighted to announce the return of the Big Innovation Pitch competition. Hosted across Futurebuild in conjunction with BRE, the competition will be the industry’s largest call-out for innovation to date and will identify and celebrate novel new approaches to some of the biggest challenges facing us all.

Submit your pitches to meet one of the following six challenges: 

• Offsite: reliability and efficiency combined with creative placemaking

• Interiors: sustainable and health promoting

• Resourceful Materials: thinking circular to reduce, reuse and recycle

• Energy: accurate data for carbon accounting and reduced clean energy usage

• Critical Infrastructure: delivering integrated green, grey, blue and social infrastructure

• Buildings: retrofitted, re-used, net positive and built to perform

Open to all, from start-ups and entrepreneurs, through to larger established brands, the Big Innovation Pitch shortlist will have the opportunity to pitch their entry during day one of Futurebuild, followed by the final, taking place on day two of the event. The winning idea will be incorporated into BRE Academy Training and showcased in the landmark BRE Innovation Park.
