LANDSCAPE 2019 to include Meet the Designer and Pecha Kucha 20x20

With hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of products as well as Meet the Designer and Pecha Kucha Sessions, there are huge opportunities for networking at LANDSCAPE 2019.

LANDSCAPE - the UK's premier event for the industry, returns to Battersea Park in London on Tuesday 17 September and Wednesday 18 September 2019.

LANDSCAPE is a trade event for discerning designers, landscape designers, contractors, facilities managers and interior designers involved in projects in the UK and beyond. The landscape industry's trade event is dedicated to products, services and innovation for the design, build and management of exterior and interior landscape projects, with an array of new and returning exhibitors under one roof!

Making its return for 2019, in association with the Landscape Institute, is Pecha Kucha 20x20. You may be wondering what PechaKucha means. It derives from the Japanese term for the sound of 'chit-chat' providing a lively and informal format to enlighten and inspire. The sessions will take place in the form of a series of presentations, where landscaping professionals will be showing 20 images, each for 20 seconds (hence the 20x20). Presenters include Andrew Wilson of the London College of Garden Design, Nicole Brown from Huskisson Brown, Jane Findlay of FIRA, Dan Hitch of WATG, as well as Armel Mourge & Eugenia Grilli of Gillespies. This year's topic is Things that make me go 'wow'!  Join others for a drink on Tuesday 17 September 2019 in the Central Bar Area from 17:15.

Also returning to this year's show are the Meet the Designer sessions. Building on the success of the 2018 programme, LANDSCAPE has worked with popular professionals in the industry to put together four sessions. Have you ever wondered how the biggest names in landscaping got to where they are today? This is your opportunity to get to know, and delve into, the lives of some of the most passionate Garden Designers.  This year's line-up features Jonathan Snow, Charlotte Rowe, Kate Gould and James Alexander Sinclair. The sessions will be held on Wednesday 18 September 2019 at the Central Bar between 11:15 and 15:15.

The LANDSCAPE Show will be open from 10:00 - 18:00 on Tuesday the 17 September, and 10:00-17:00 on Wednesday 18 September 2019. The Exhibition as well as the Seminar, Meet the Designer & Pecha Kucha sessions are all free to attend.
