Highlighting the importance of sustainable drainage systems

The Landscape Institute has just released a new report in collaboration with the Construction Industry Council which highlights the importance of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) in managing surface water run off to protect the built environment.

SuDS schemes not only manage the quantity and quality of water, but also improves biodiversity, and help create attractive and healthy places. This report reveals research which shows how only small changes would be needed to to provide better outcomes for communities and the environment.
