New role for President Elect

Alex Naraian MCIAT joins Ascot Design

Ascot Design has announced the appointment of Alex Naraian as an Associate Director with effect from 4 October 2017.

Alex is CIAT President Elect and will become the Institute’s 28th President on 18 November 2017. His term as president will last two years.

In his new role at Ascot Design, based in Ascot, Berkshire, Alex heads up the technical department of the business.

He joins Ascot Design after a short sabbatical. Previously an Associate Director  at ADAM Architecture, he possesses a broad knowledge of traditional and classical architecture, though he admits that he is not wedded exclusively to these styles of architecture. Architecture and architectural technology of the highest standards are of the utmost importance to him, which is an ethos shared by Ascot Design.

Speaking of the appointment, Alex said 'Working with such a diverse, inclusive and talented team at Ascot Design is such a privilege. With a staff of more than 50 across the business I am excited to be a part of its continued growth. The working environment is dynamic and creative with a collaborative and inclusive working culture. To be a part of such a great environment while creating exceptional architecture and doing what I enjoy so much is excellent.'
