Plaque for CIAT Award-winning Harefield House

CIAT representatives travelled to the village of Norton, Suffolk, on 6 June to present a plaque to Plaice Design Company for their project Harefield House, which was Commended in last year's Alan King Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology.
Plaice Design's clients, Liz and John Adams, had long held the ambition to build their own bespoke house in the grounds of their existing home, known as Becketts. The brief called for the design of a contemporary, sustainable detached four bedroom dwelling to provide approximately 200m2 of living accommodation, together with a detached double garage.
