Request regarding European research on health and safety good practice

The Institute for Employment Studies is seeking assistance from a construction SME.

CIAT has received a request from Dr Sally Wilson, the Health, Work and Wellbeing Policy Research Lead at the Institute for Employment Studies, and is looking for assistance from a construction company – ideally an SME – who has implemented a health and safety initiative of any kind with potential business benefits, in order that they can begin to quantify the benefits that that they have derived from their efforts. (Dr Wilson has also said that the company would need to be visited and interviewed by her Department.)

The sponsor for this initiative is the Executive Agency for Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises (EASME) in Brussels, and there are case studies being conducted in a number of other Member States. An information sheet providing further information on this is attached below.

If you are able to assist with this, please contact Dr Wilson directly at [email protected] by Monday 19 August 2019. We request that your correspondence is also copied to Graham Chalkey, Assistant Practice Director, at [email protected].
