Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician to join an expanding design team working on a range of projects including our increasing workload in the defence sector. We need a new team mate to support our architecture team based in our Wellington Office and our expanding national architecture team.

Your role
Your particular focus will be to support a wide range of our design projects from creating masterplans and site plans through to detailing and designing buildings. You will continue to learn on the job, mentored by our Associate, using a range of relevant tools including CAD (both 2D and 3D), graphics packages, desk top publishing, spreadsheets and hand drawn information. You will support our Wellington WYG team as required, which includes town planners, ecologists and project managers.

About you
Experience in the defence sector and/or knowledge of Revit to BIM level 2 will be beneficial to the role. A positive attitude and willingness to work hard is key to this opportunity. You’ll bring to the role energy, enthusiasm and commitment to help us deliver complex and interesting projects, employing a variety of drawing and modelling skills. You will be an Architectural Technician with 3-5 years working experience. You will be confident in using computers.
